Self Control in proverbs
Proverbs 16:32 & 25:28
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city
He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down and without walls.
If we are not able to control ourselves in this world we are doomed to be attacked by our emotions at all times and easy pickings by the devil. We need to listen to the words that God has put on our hearts and be in control of ourselves and not allow the world to attack us.
God use your word to keep us as a strong city. Protected by you and safe from all attack.
