Judges 19-21

The way man thinks in a crisis.

The scene is this, a Levite tossed his concubine to a mob of me to be raped and tortured threw out the night. He threw her to them to save his own skin in the same breath, the owner of the house he staying in offer up his daughter to suffer the same faith to protect this man. The concubine dies from the trauma she had to endure. and the Levite, servant of God, what does he do?  He does not bury her, he does not pray for the lost men who did this. But he cuts her up and sends her body parts to the remaining tribes of Israel and says this is their fault for not having their brother under control.

The remaining tribes then war against the tribe of Dan(where the mob came from)
Leaving them without a means to carry on and grow their families. So the rest of Israel decides to go and murder a neighboring people and leave their virgin women for the tribe of Dan.

Now the was the old testament and again the last part of the book of Judges read "every man did which was right in his own eyes."

What about what is right in God's Eyes?

In this time we see how a man wants to behave and how they want to treat one another. Lord let me not forget how you would want me to carry myself at all times. Let me stay in line with your viewpoint and in the way you want me to see this world and how to respond.
