God leading and directing Genesis 31:3 And the LORD said unto Jacob, Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee. Jacob has gotten a wife and also very rich. God has been very good to him. Even in a foreign land and a long ways from family he was not alone. God was there and meeting his needs. Now God tells him to return home. God has great plans for Jacob. Though he used his trickery to get what God had already promised God would still use him. He will go home. He will get ready to lead a family that will be used to bless the world with the gospel. Do you realize that God is at work in your life? It doesn't matter where you live or how you have failed. If you are a believer you will never too far from God for Him to be blessing you and bringing you home! Do you see God's hand of blessing on your life? Do you count your blessings and consider His goodness? Do you see how your rebellion has gotten you so far off track? Come back and obey. Start following One that loves you so much that He has never quit on you!
