Sanctifying Yourself as the house of God.

 2 Chronicles 29:5

"And said unto them, Hear me ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy places.

God through Hezekiah commanded the Levites to sanctify themselves and God's house to make it ready for the Lord. this was apart of Hezekiah's plan to repair the house of the Lord and start his rule properly. I was able to teach the kids in children's church what sanctification means and how it applies to us. Sanctification means holiness it means to become more dedicated and devoted to God. For us believers, we are the house of God. He dwells in us. So are we sanctifying ourselves for Him? Are we dedicating ourselves to him every day our we devoting ourselves to him? Let's take the time to get our day and year started by getting into the mindset of God before we carry out whatever new Year plan we have for ourselves.
