Leave your pride at the Door. Do what you are told.

 2 Kings 5:13

"And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash and be clean? "

King Naaman's pride was offended when the Prophet Elisha told him to just go was in the river and his leprosy would be gone. He thought that a king such as himself deserved a grand example of God's might and power to remove leprosy from his body. But what his servant said was so clear it could not be argued. God doesn't need to put on a show to prove he is God. All he needs to do is obey and do. That logic applies to us as well, how often do you hear the words from God tell you to do something? How often do you listen? How often do you argue with God? If you are arguing more than listening and Following God, we have a problem.
Now from a pride point of view, if the task was something difficult to do, the king could've done the task then brag that he overcame a hard trail to come out clean. Instead, God simply said "go take a bath" We need to take pride out the window when it comes to serving God and remember it is for his will and not our own. Remember Pride comes before destruction.  I'd rather be a humble servant of God, than a Proud king of earth covered in sored and scars. Do you feel the same?
