Numbers 15:41 I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.

God brought them out of slavery in the land of Egypt. He did so to be their God. He said to them, I am the Lord, the King, the Master, your God.

I think of how He brought me out of slavery and sin. He brought me where I would be free. He is my God. He brought me out so that He would be my God. He is my God.

I should never forget where He brought me from. I should never forget how good He has been to me. I want to recognize Him for who He is. I want to treat Him like who He is.
