Simple Obedience devotion by Pastor Gardner

Numbers 2:34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.

The children of Israel simply did what the Lord told them to do. They outlined their lives according to His plan. They set up their entire camp that way.

As simple as it may seem we ought to be reading the Scripture with open hearts to find what pleases God. We do not make rules of it but we do want to order our lives that way.

The way to please God is to "Trust and Obey!" Simple obedience. I will do what God says and trust Him with everything. Don't live a life of rules. Don't live a life of guilt and manipulation but do seek to love and please God in all!
