Your prayer life.

"5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name."

How do you Pray?

Do you pray in the open? standing up?

On your knees? In public or in private?

God calls for us to pray but to pray honestly, He does not need a show, a song, and dance, for him to be able to hear your prayers. He just wants to hear from you. He wants to hear from you daily. We create apps for everything. Even for praying. We are called to pray for our loved ones and our enemies. We pray for growth for closeness with God and to steady ourselves. But we have to come to prayer honestly. Humble ourselves in prayer and acknowledge that God is gracious and loving to us.  Take the time to praise him, before giving a list of wants. God is more than "what can you do for me?" He is father, Master, Creator, and king. He saved us from death and now we can come to him as a happy child and see our great he is. So when you pray, pray with joy and pray regularly.
