1 Timothy 6:6&7

"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out."

There is nothing in this world that can hold a candle to the godliness and grace we receive from God. It is greater than any job and pay rate, a television show or a clothing line. We come in this world with nothing and we will die with nothing. The Egyptians would bury their treasure with them thinking they could take it with them to the afterlife and look where it is now, in a tomb collection dust or in a museum behind glass. 

We must be content in order to make it in this world and in our Christian life in order to move forward in this world. Being prideful and greedy will never end well, only bitterness will be your outcome in life if you can not be content with your place in life and bask and enjoy the Gift of God's Grace and take that mentality with you into the world
