Deut. 10:16

"Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked."

In the Old Testament we read about how God required a circumcision to show the faith. but he didn't just required a circumcision of the flesh. Which he did when he asked Abraham. But he also required a circumcision of the heart. We are to remove a piece of ourselves, remove that part of you that turns away from God and stop being so stubborn, Remove that piece of yourself that clings to the world and follow God.

We who have accepted Christ and follow him, we are performing a circumcision of the heart, we make a promise to God that we will not be stubborn people and we will submit to God and remove that piece of ourselves that is not of God.

We must remove that piece of ourselves and follow Christ, sounds easy right, no it is not, but will we let that stop us and become stiffnecked? I don't think so what about you?
