Psalm 46

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 .Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4  There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8. Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9.  He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10.  Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
11.  The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Through out our lives we faced with struggles and trials. When we are to the point that we are spent mentally as well as emotionally you must always remember that you have a well of strength that is better and more rejuvenating than any force on this earth it is and that is the lord our God. He we be that everlasting support system.  He's that drive in the final round of fight when you punched out and you can't move. He is that burst of energy with you have hiked up a mountain and you think to yourself " you've got nothing left, this is too hard, I'm not strong enough." And you know what, YOU'RE RIGHT!  You are not strong enough, I'm not strong enough. The strongest man in the world get tired and can't lift anymore. We are merely human we are not strong enough to bare the weight of this world alone.

So what do you do? Will you let the strain of this world break your back? Should we go around this world like the rest of the lost being a bunch of whiners and burned out people?! NO!!!! We don't have to go at the world alone, and why, because we have the most powerful thing on our side, The Lord our God, Jesus Christ is a refuge, our safe haven. so when you are desperate and you feel like you are done in this world, tune to the Lord for he will strengthen you and keep you always.
