Mental Renewal (Rom. 12:1-2)

 "I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

During a time when everyone is concerned with mental health and stability these two verses crucial.  The world will tell you to seek most of the troubles of this world by indulging in everything you can to numb it.  By imbracing pleasures that are taboo, sin wants you to fill your life. So this world will use your exhaustion, your mental fatigue, your lowest point to keep you in the world and turn away from God. 

The call for transformation is God seeking out the lost to not surrender to the world but seek after Him and trust in him. Paul by way of The Holy Spirit is pleading with believers to not continue to carry themselves as worldly people. But in everything in Thought and deed, in do it in the will of God and in a way that would please Him.

Let's encourage you today. Do what you know God would have you to do today. If you don't know what that is, Pray and seek him in his word until you know what he has for you today.
