Rapture Sermon

The other day Myself, the Canfield's, Micaela, Ben Thomas, Bethany and Makenzie ll went to a camp meeting, It’s a place where everyone comes and hear the word spoken from different preachers. And there was one preachers there would was so fired up all he did was shout the glories of God, he shouted and praised God so much I thought his head was going to pop off his head. Now that may not sound like an entertaining night to some, or maybe just one big spectacle for others, for me this stood out. Because why shouldn’t he shout and praise the awesome power of the almighty God.  

1 Thessalonians 4:16 say that the Lord himself shall descend with a SHOUT, not a cherp, not a whisper, he could use come quietly,

in 1 Kings 19:12-13 ( And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? )

God spoke to Elijah with a still small voice after a fire and and earthquake and was still heard and received. But when the rapture comes, God doesn’t want to come to the world with a whisper, no, no, When our Lord Christ comes back for us he wants to do it big, For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a SHOUT, with the voice of the archangel, with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with  the Lord.

The Lord is coming back for us, he told us in John 14 Christ told his disciple to not let her heart be troubled for he is preparing a place for us in heaven, that there will be mansions waiting for us and when he returns he will receive us into himself and we will learn with him forever.

Just think about that, not only has Christ bore the wrath meant for us on the cross, not only did he use his blood to wash away our sin and so that we are seen as perfect sinless creatures i the Lord eyes, but he promise to come back to get us. He preparing a place for us, he has mansions waiting for us. I don’t know about you, but I feel like shouting myself, For every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that CHRIST IS LORD. When that day come He’s coming back with a trump a voice of an angel and A SHOUT. I know I will be shout and sing the praise when that day comes, how about you, how will you feel or better yet how will you react when the Lord returns. Will it be a shout or glory. Or a meek whisper. He’s coming back in loud, victorious fashion, will you praise him that same way.
