God Controls All

Ecc. 3:1

God determines all times and seasons in the world.

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”

vs 2-8

There is a time for every to begin and to end.

 in these first 8 verse we are shown the power of the father, the alpha and omega,

which is the beginning and the end.

vs9 (1:3)

In this verse solomon asks the same question that he did in chapter one

“What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? “

with these first 9 verse we see Solomon once again showing the knowledge God has given him, he has traveled and has once again come to the same question. What is the point?

God’s answers

vs 10.

life is a gift

“I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.”

God gave the sons of men travail or struggles to to show how amazing life is, we go through life exercising our right to question why life is this way. But the truth is that we go through burden to be shown just how amazing life truly is.

Vs 11

Man life linked with eternity

“He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.”

God has made this world beautiful for man to enjoy and be amazed be it in their time. When God created man he made them different and the head of all creation.He put the world or by it’s definition is eternity into man’s heart. He linked us to heaven and put this longing to understand it all in us,for no one can understand everything in this world and the only way we will gain that understanding is once we are in heaven with him.

vs 12-14

Enjoying life is a gift from God

“I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.   And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.”  ‎

His final answer he gave to this question is enjoyment. God wants you to enjoy the results of your labors, he want you to eat and drink, to rejoice and praise the fact that you are on this earth because this IS a gift from God almighty. To remember that whatsoever God does it shall be forever, nothing can change it nothing can be added on or taken off of it. and God does it so that man should fear or be in awe of him.
