Romans 1:21-23

"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things."

All around the world mankind knew of God, yet they did not praise him as God, and they did not appreciate him or was thankful as the text says; instead they painted and demeaned  him with their vain imagination and foolish heart. They used their so called wisdom and made the uncorruptible  God into something as corruptible as the everyday man and to birds and beast and creeping things. Al these things that He created.

We know as Christians that there is only one God and that he is not like the flawed creatures that walk this earth. He is not some bird or beast or an idol or figment of our imagination, for our imaginations themselves are corruptible and fool hearty.and we are not giving all the glory unto God. We need to remember that God is perfect and absolute and perfect. He not like us for he is the one who created us, and us as his creation shall do what we were meant to do. Follow his word, praise him, and honor him for ever.
