Exodus 15:2

We sometimes rely on our own strengths too much, so much so that we forget the one who gives us the strength to do all things in this world.

When all seemed lost the children of Israel saw in awe  that the Lord God was there strength and power and that when they followed and had faith in him nothing in this world could compete with that. Not Pharaoh or his six hundred.

The same can be said today, when we are backed into a corner, gasping for air, tired, burnt out, or over burden. We must remember that we have a source of everlasting strength that will come to us when we need it so long as we do his will and obey his ordinances.

Father God thank you for the blessings you have given all of us and thank you for the strength you bestowed upon all who are filled with your love grace and mercy. May we use your strength to reach the nations and be the light in the darkness forever.

Amen
