Zepjaniah 1:5

This is one verse that stuck out to me when i was working on the worship portion of foundation with Robert,

When you read the book of Zephaniah you see God is speaking to him and telling him that he will consume all things. He was preparing to cut off man from the land. Verse 5 touch me with the way it talked about people who worshiped at face value.

At one point or another we have seen or known someone who on Sunday praise, worship, and jump for God's glory. Yet once they left church and went home they change their tone and the way they carry themselves. As christian's we are God's people, we are a representation of all his Grace and Mercy and what he can do when you let him into your heart.

But when you , as the verse say's "worship the host upon the housetops; and swear by the Lord, and that swear by Malcham;" you are being false. You can not praise God and praise another. God is a jealous God and he does not when his people will not only turn there back to him, but also when you praise him and then you're heart praises another you an adulterous person and you are hurting God. He knows whats in your heart and he knows that your heart is not towards him and he feels the pain of your lack of love each day and yet he still loves you. He is a long suffering God but there are time where, like all Fathers, God will come down and place a firm hand to his children's backside to try to set  them straight.

Father God I thank you for all the blessing you have giving us and everyone in my life. I ask you watch over everyone of you children, both the saved and the lost, that they may fill you enter into their heart an they will know that is no need be false with you as long as they have you in their heart and none of their praise will be false and it will be pure and all the blessings that you have for them will come to them in due time. In all these things I pray in your sons name.
Amen
